Description
The Typ II Maverick is the production model of a series of prototype shotguns designed by the dutch company Winkle Arms to be a viable successor for the Winchester models 1887 and 1901. The Maverick is a falling block tube fed shotgun, being both break-open and lever operated, having greater reloading time and much faster fire rate them any other semi-automatic firearm with fixed magazine.
A major advantage of its break top design is that special rounds and adapters can be placed directly into the barrel, acting much like a single shot shotgun and allowing “Ghost Loading” to be achieved much easier. On the other hand, its lever action design also makes it difficult to used while going prone, even with its lower overall profile compared to the original Winchesters.
The PLUS 12 is chambered in 12 gauge and have a much longer and reinforced barrel, also sporting polymer stock and forend pieces, as well as golden trigger and side writings, with this model in particular also having an extended magazine (allowing for 8+1 shells to be loaded), muzzle breaker and an aftermarket dark grey matte finish.
